Port tour Zeebrugge

Discover a world port in action!

Captain Blue shows you the ins and outs of a real world port. Get a taste of the sea air and activate all your senses. Place to throw anchor for cargo giants, ferries, cruise ships, fishing boats, tugboats, luxury yachts and all this barely a few steps from each other.

During the trip, we see the Belgian naval base, the gas terminal and the wind turbines on the dam. You will also get to see the island of terns (with its thousands of seabirds) and one of the largest sea locks in the world. The tour with audio-visual guide (75 min) will give you a completely different view of a world port. This is a boat to remember.

FAQ

How long does the boat trip take?

The standard boat trip through the outer port of Zeebrugge takes 75 minutes. You can embark from half an hour before departure, embarking will close 10 minutes before departure.

Does everyone have a fixed seat?

No. Our ship has two comfortable interior saloons with large panoramic windows with 120 seats and two exterior decks with 40 seats. You can take your seat wherever you want. During the trip you can walk around or change places without any problems. On the outside deck, you will come into contact with the healthy sea air and there you have an open panoramic view. In the inside lounge, you can find shelter from wind and rain.

Can we get snacks and drinks on board?

Yes. Our bar with staff offers a wide selection of hot and cold drinks. You can enjoy your drink in one of our comfortable indoor salons or on the panoramic outdoor decks. On request, we provide culinary cold fish or meat dishes, or a sandwich buffet for groups of 30 people or more. For groups we can offer hot or cold meals or buffets in a nearby location. Ask for our fixed formulas for parties and receptions.

Is the boat trip suitable for (school) groups or associations?

Yes. During the tour you will get to know better the operation of a seaport. The boat sails along the various loading and unloading quays of the container and cruise ships. On the way, you will also see the Belgian naval base, the gas terminal and the wind turbines on the dam. An audiovisual tour on board is provided (a special kidstour is possible for schools). The tour fits in with the curriculum objectives of primary and secondary schools. If you have a bus available as a group, you can continue your visit with a guide (paying) prior or after the boat trip by a tour of the inner port.

Can I rent the entire boat?

The boat can be rented for your group. In addition to the standard tour of the port, other routes are proposed (Zeebrugge-Lissewege-Brugge-Gent-Oostende) at charter prices. The departure times and the duration of the trip can be adjusted to your wishes. We offer fixed reception formulas and dinners or are happy to work out an offer according to your wishes.
